I think it's 3k for the S-Tronic over stick.
Too much power is barely enough.

Just under, though with support and discount currently available it's as good as free.

Thanks for all the good comments guys. Dave did an outstanding job and I couldn't recommend his services more highly. He'll definitely being getting more work from me, the difference between when I collected it from the dealership and from Dave is black and white. What a waste of money that Audi autoshine was, lesson learned.
This is the plus model and I did get it from Tyneside Audi, I couldn't be happier with the car, especially with how it looks now. Here's one last photo, which is my favorite :biggrin3:

Tyneside seem to be selling quite a few top end vehicles at the moment - nice one
"UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" -----------is how far you take the fence with you.

Will Tyneside still sell new R8's now that the new Newcastle branch has become the RS/R8 centre ? Anyone going to the opening next Thursday? Looks like there will be some tasty metal there.

Apparently Tyneside and the other Audi dealers locally will lose the R8 but none of the other RS marks and all R8 sales will be through Newcastle.

Seems like the invites were only to Newcastle Audi owners regardless of how much money you have spent with the group

I was in the new dealership last week for a look around, very impressive, the place is enormous! I was in asking if they’d be taking on all the R8 maintenance, what with them having the new state of the art workshops. They will be but not until all of their mechanics have been on specialist training. So I was thinking I may stick with Tyneside where I know they’ve experience with the R8.
I asked about the opening evening, apparently there is going to be another one in August too. Fingers crossed for an invite to that one, especially with my brother putting a deposit down on a new RS5 he spec’d while we were there. He wasn’t best pleased with me; as I’d dragged him along for a look. :biggrin3:

Not sure what you have to do to get an invite lol so spoken to Paul at Tyneside about the opening event and he said he would look into if for me having just purchased a new S6 Avant in March and now buying an RS6 for Sept from them :!: :!:

Her in doors father also bought a limited edition A4 and his bother an S3 all on my recommendation this year - maybe I should have tried harder when in the old Newcastle branch :bash:

I could never get anyone's attention in the old Newcastle branch, even after buying the b7 RS4 I had from there. :audibash:
Totally different experience in the new place though when we popped in, we left with deposits placed on an RS5 an SQ5. My brother also managed to bag taking their new V10 R8 demonstrator out for run, after telling them I won't let him have a go of mine. If there is another opening night of some description and we don't get an invite I'll be disappointed.

Yes I always thought Newcastle to be very stand off ish when I went in and they did not seem to be interested in my business :audibash:

Tyneside were altogether different in their approach and the deal was struck very quickly for the S6 - mind you I blame them fully for my change of heart re the RS6 as I was very happy with the S6 until they offered me a day in the demo RS6 and that was that, ordered one the next day :biggrin3:

Ha ha yeah my parents and I have similar stories of leaving Newcastle annoyed and going through to Tyneside where we were asked if we'd like any help almost immediately. I too point some blame in their direction for the purchase of my R8, I had gone in to enquire about deals on the B8 RS4 or any used R8s they may of had in the system. Would never have believed the new Plus was within my reach until they suggested it.
I feel slightly bad not staying loyal on the purchase of the SQ5 but Newcastle had a demonstrator and a one in the show room that fits my needs without having to wait on a build slot. The dealership are just fitting a couple additions before I collect it. Be interesting now though to compare customer care between the two dealerships, as I am now made to feel very special if I ever pop in to Tyneside for any reason.

Had the same experience in the past guys. Except being put off and crap customer service from newcastle audi i just thought tyneside would be the same. So a 3 A6s later 1 Q7 and a RS6 from Lincoln i gave tyneside ago as they gave me their demo and great customer service and looked after me well nothing but nightmare story's from friends and family about newcastle though terrible service as most are aware in the past. Hope they have upped there game and changed by sounds of yourself you seem happy so thats a good thing but for me as good as the dealership looks no business from me im afraid tyneside for me or lincoln but ill try to stay local. And congrats on the R8 mate looks amazing great spec and colour hope to see or hear it blasting about toon hopefully be joining in after my 10 month wait. :beerchug: :biggrin3:
