You'd be surprised how tame they are off boost on pump gas, my wife drives mine without issue.

Nude,

How much power you make to the wheels on pump gas?

Big difference between 800hp and 1800hp !!

I guess you are running tiny boost and reasonably large exhaust housings making it laggy but friendly and using the standard engines C/R and power to make up the holes, so maybe a pair of GT30's or 35's with 0.86 housings or 1.04 perhaps with under 10psi boost.

I would guess that the car above runs proper boost on a pair of GT42's or bigger and would probably have a C/R under 8.0 and be a total arse to use normally off throttle and in traffic etc, probably with hefty cams to make use of the pressure too and a midrange to peel your eyebrows !!

I'd happily drive it on the road, but Im an idiot !!

:biggrin3:

Yeah mine has a pair of GT35R's currently running 5.5lb max but no noticeable lag at just under 900HP/1k Nm+, Same kit though for 1500HP on race but change in fuelling and management.

The UGR GT posted and indeed the Heffner Elite builds are driveable but scary fast! I have friends with 1600HP+ lambo SL's that drive them interstate to meets... one ran 222.7mph in 1/2 mile event yesterday.

WOW !!

750bhp+ from GT35 on 2.6litres is going some, for race fuel or even plutonium !! lol

And they dont change internals for this ?? Blimey !!

Its not something I have looked into that closely, one GT35 is enough for my needs on track.

Likewise, I just drive em, pretty sure the real big power cars have some internal stuff done for sure.

Did loads of testing and tuning without bumper, melted so many rear number plates :)

LOL

You mentioning rear plates - blew mine off at Snetterton when my fuel tank blew up on the track car - came up to race control to thank the stewards for putting it out and saving it and they were all chuckling at the video footage of it flying off the back bumper !!
