V10 R8 CLUTCH BITING POINT

Post by f11rfn » Sun Mar 09, 2014 4:48 pm

Hi guys went to see a v10 manual spyder.. it has done 24500 miles.. the clutch biting point felt bit high to me? didnt hear any sqeeks or noises and gear selection was pretty easy? Can anyone give advice on how a manual clutch should feel and and signs of worn out clutches?

many thanks

My V10 has done 20k miles - Biting point is towards the end of travel - quick way to check is put it in a high gear and accelerate from low speed / low rom (2k) if revs rise faster than speed of car - clutch on its way out.

Mine is fine - go for it and buy it!! you will not regret it.... :beerchug:
