The next lightness is on the underbody, the last rear cover.
Magnesium AZ31B is used here because this material is as light as carbon fiber.

I'm continually amazed at your obsession with reducing weight on your R8.
Did you try helium in the tyres to save a bit more?
On a more serious note, have you been keeping track f how much it's cost to get as far as you have?

The supplied metal sleeves in the picture on the bottom left are of course too weak for the required tightening torque, so beveled washers are a must.

Finally, the raw air supply via Sideblade is as I always imagined.
Uniform pipe cross-section from the grille of the sideblade so that there is a laminar flow of air.
In addition, over a kilo of weight are saved.
The carbon tube comes from England
