light and strong Audi R8 V8
Re: light and strong Audi R8 V8
Hi
The torque is the same, because Audi does not allow higher torque here.
If one knows how one must change the control for the camshaft timing in the data set, so you get out also significantly more torque.
This works but only if the engine can suck in more air.
Drive times without the air filter box under part, without the air filter and measure the air mass with VCDS
Compare that then have you made the measurement with filter

Re: light and strong Audi R8 V8
MAF reading in VCDS is NOT accurate.
There have been many instances where MAF drops but power (and side by side performance) is dramatically different.
The MAF is just measuring the cooling effect of the air on a heated element - from this it can estimate the mass of air required to cause the cooling effect. However it is very sensitive to changes in the intake that completely screw up the reading. For example, based on that maf reading you'd be expecting over 500bhp

Hi
a measurement with and without filter by VCDS but gives you an overview
could get much air mass of the engine!
For the determination of air mass for possible power factor of 1.12 to 1.15 is
appropriate. 400g / s x 1.15 = 460PS

Hi
486PS we were also measured, but not saved.
Engine was too hot and there are 481PS on the paper.
