I think he should just zip tie the wheels to the car. It'd save him another 0.8kg and if the wheels fell off, that'd save him a whole bunch of unsprung mass. Also, if the wheels fell off, he wouldn't need brakes, so he could save some extra weight taking those off. I think I'm on to something here.

He uses feathers to balance his wheels, they're lighter than the equivalent lead or titanium weights.

There, that should cabbage Chunky's brain...

Hi

Yes, I think about an electric power steering for a long time :biggrin2:

The mechanical power steering also eats power

I much prefer the original grill. The R8 is not an RS.

The Yanks loves these grills yet you're German :audibash: :audibash: :audibash:

Hi

In the carbon door panels are now installed also loudspeaker grilles.

It was a lot of handwork to get such a thing perfect.

Hi

The next act.

The Rieger front spoiler (1.7Kg) and the standard part (0.7Kg) was disposed of and replaced by the lightweight GT front spoiler 1.2 Kg.
Weight advantage 1,2 Kg.
In addition, the Rieger side skirts (3,2Kg) and also the series side skirts (4 Kg) were disposed of and replaced by light V10 carbon side skirts 1,5 Kg.
Weight advantage 5.7 kg.

The buck was now allowed to weigh 1350 kg. :thumb:

Hi

By posting in another forum, I found that there are differences in the rear bumpers.
before facelift is in the middle of the bumper, a reinforcement that there is no longer the facelift.
Weight savings from removing this reinforcement resulted in 1 kg less weight.

In a short time, 10.5 kg of reduced weight have come together. :boots:
