I thought you finance types found ways to 'pay'!

I'll pay on a polo bluemotion.

Yeah apparently when credit crunch hit JLR ran out of cash to develop the Sportbrake, hence it's delayed market appearance , but once they started making money they went all out on this, it has air suspension on the rear with self leveling and is supposed to handle quite well for a luxo barge....and anyone that says an A6 S-Line is better looking better buy a TT

Mega work going on at JLR. Been doing a lot of work at the new engine depot in Wolverhampton and Solihull. Really hoping to get myself a fl XFR this year. Wish there was a place to get a good remap/ upgrades for them.

Fifth gear did a test on both xf and sportbrake, Tiff said the sportbrake handled better! If they could sort it out so they could do an XFR/S sportbrake that would be splendid.

Once my car funds recover post house purchase I think I'll dabble in a XKR-S in French Racing blue as a stepping stone to the F Type Coupe R

Only problem is they are too quiet. Mind you, if anyone can sort mods out, it's you.

Those F coupes are really a thing of beauty. I think the design team there have created one of the best looking cars on the market. And you know it's going to sound good too !

How you settling into JLR now Dave ?

The XJ is a really nice motor too. Meant to handle extremely well for such a big motor. Wonder what the XJR is like? Problem is, they are out up against the RS6 and AMG.

S8 and S63 .... Jag are a generation behind the Germans, but are catching up ... Audi used to be a generation behind BMW with the B7 A4 and C5 A6 but then caught up and now ahead....Jag will always be tiny in comparison, but will close the gap to the Germans but with added passion style and flair
