The End has come

Post by HYFR » Thu Jan 23, 2014 3:32 pm

Well today, I sold my V10 R8 Spyder

This marks the end of the Audi game. It's been fun, it started 8yrs ago, lets see if I can remember them in order....

TT Quattro Sport 240 Misano Red
RS 6 saloon V8 Avus Silver
S4 saloon V8 Colbalt Blue manual
S4 Cabriolet V8 Cobalt Blue tip tronic
RS 6 saloon V8 Phantom Black (Darth)
RS 4 saloon V8 Avus Silver (Optimus Prime)
RS 6 Plus avant V8 Metallic Silver
S4 Avant V8 Noggy Blue manual
RS 4 cabriolet V8 Daytona Grey
S3 Hatch 2.0T Black ed. s-Tronic
TTS 2.0T coupe Dakota Grey manual
S4 saloon V6T phantom black manual
RS 4 saloon V8 Imola Yellow (Bananananana)
TTRS coupe 2.5T Sepang Blue S-Tronic
R8 V8 coupe Phantom Black manual (ASBO)
TTRS coupe 2.5T Misano Red S-Tronic
S4 saloon V6T Monsoon Grey S-Tronic
TTRS coupe 2.5T Panther Black
TT Quattro Sport 240 Avus
RS 6 saloon V10 (LOON) Daytona
V10 R8 coupe Ibis manual (Caine)
RS 3 sport back 2.5T Suzuka grey
RS 5 coupe Imola yellow (Homer)
R8 V10 couple R-Tronic Brilliant Red (Elmo)
RS 4 cabriolet Imola Yellow
R8 V10 Spyder phantom black (Luther)

I've probably got pictures of them all somewhere

Had such great memories, ring trips, track days, vmaxs, Scottish road trips, Wales road trips, AITP, MRC rolling road days, Kent meets etc etc etc

Met some great mates on here, so much so they even came on my stag do to Vegas!

But, now I'm all grown up, I've just bought a house....so needs must, and the cars need to go.

So this is the end of the Audi game.

It's been fun!

I'll leave you with my last bit of fun in the Spyder at Snetterton.

Peace out!

Think I might cry, it's all too emotional.

My RS 5 is being dropped off today as well.

It was good while it lasted, most people would struggle to get that lot in their total car history, roll on the shaguar years

Funny actually, now I've sold the Spyder and have the cash in my account...I've got exactly the same sum I started with 8yrs ago!

Of course there is the opportunity lost of investing, and the money I've spent in between , but I've enjoyed every minute of these cars and used them as intended, so I'm happy.
