I'm still torn. Cannot decide, order rs6 or find a v10 R8. I can't convince myself that in the case of the latter I wouldn't regret it in 12 months when the replacement lands.
Seen a few I like, well they all look awesome to be fair.

I reckon I will drive the R8 V8 and then decide. I have a feeling it won't be worth the extra 20k.

I drove past a C7 RS 6 yesterday and it looked bloody marvellous. I really want one of those as well. The RS 6 is just the full package.

However the s-tronic V10+ really blew me away. I'd just about take it over the RS. You would regret it in a year though when the new one is out. RS 6 is probably more exclusive than the R8.

Bloody tough decision. Nice decision though.

Aye, it's nice having a nice but difficult decision but it's still doing my tree in. After Millbrook I'd decided, rs6 all the way. But now...

I think you're right, interior and tech will eventually grate. Finding a car with the special interior touch is hard.

Just buy a used v10 now and sell it in 12 months...you'll lose £5k
A C7 will lose that in 30seconds

Wonder what a one year finance deal would like on one in terms of payments and depreciation. Hmmmm . . .

1yr finance deal?

I'm on my 4th R8 and none of them will have depreciated more than £5k in 12months when I compare my buy/sell price

Of course if you buy high and trade in, then prepare to bend over

If you're thinking V8 R8 money, then for £45k you can buy a decent 997 Turbo. I know they don't exactly sound great in comparison to an Audi v8, but my god are they fast. I'd take one over a V8 R8 every time as a weekend toy... But if we're talking V10, then that noise, as you know, is something else
