New to car but not to forum

Post by matt8442 » Sat Jul 27, 2013 3:49 pm

Hi all, just thought id say hi again, been away a while, was on here with my audi S5 but decided i needed more BHP so upgraded to a red R8 v10. Will post pics later. Question i have is anybody used the QS tuning MTM remapped ECU? I used QS tuning when i had my S 5 and had no complaints with the service but the ECU is over 3k and claims BHP gains of 588 bhp. I know some remaps are kind of a placebo effect so want to make sure i am getting bang for my buck. Thanks and will stay in touch.... :beerchug:

Great choice!

You mean gains to 588?

Stock is hardly slow and im not sure youll get bang for buck if im honest...

Get an exhaust instead and enjoy the noise. :beerchug:

Or go twin turbo

Rule 1
previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.
Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.
Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

Now - Empty garage

Lol i know stock the car is quick, but i have had it now a few weeks and just want to see if i can get it that little bit quicker. As for the twin turbo idea i saw an American company called Heffners that could do that, but thats a little to much to soon! Lol

The only thing i would change is the wheel colour, they look lost being so dark. The R8 is a stunning shape and the red looks amazing.
