Massive thanks to AMD Essex, Shaun and the guys....tip top team.

Gave me a few free sessions at Prept @ Brands Hatch on Sat,

The R8 was the quickest thing by miles! I actually lapped a V10 M6 which set off behind me in one of the sessions!

Contrasting black and red does look good.

Clearly the M 6 driver was clueless !!

Yeah, I think they were all clueless tbh.

Even that 996 GT3 in the pics was stupid slow...

Tbf, it was only taster sessions, not a full on OPL day.

What is the stickered thing in front of you in first pic

I managed to get on a novice day at the end of last year because a friend wanted to take his 911 around.

They originally said I couldn't because I'd done so many but they gave in and let me on anyway

How does the robot-tronic compare against manual labour?
No matter where you go, there you are.

The robot tronic comes into its own on track...much better to have both hands on the wheel all the time in a car that moves around as much as the R8.

I prefer the manual for the road (excluding traffic off course!)

I think it's the ex-BTCC Golf run by AMD

Car looks great DK, I think the Red/Black works much better with the supercar scheme. I wish they made early R8 v8's in brighter colours so I could trade up from the RS4, but the usual white/grey/silver/black options aren't lairy enough for me.

Yes it was their BTCC golf...was driven slowly thou.

So many people have commented on how well the red looks.

I agree, too little choice in colour on used R8's...

Red could be the new white?

Most of the Audi demos in the C7 RS6 are red.

Look great with optics/Titan wheels
