Pick up my V10 this week!

Post by iR8V10 » Sat May 11, 2013 4:11 pm

Been looking for an exclusive R8 V10 since selling my V8.

Just knew I wanted it with high spec and unique.

Thought id end up in an Imola or Samoa car to make it individual with an exterior paint colour, which i love but they somehow just don't work so well in the UK with our crap light and weather.

Instead..., I happened to literally stumble on a car I fell in love with a year ago when it was for sale then but was out of my league.

So...next week I will to be picking up a Daytona Grey Pearl V10 R/T with full Chestnut Brown Exclusive trimmed interior.

I said I wanted unique and know that the interior will divide opinion like Cognac does but I love it :<beep>_you: and it looks much better in the flesh than in pictures! It's like Milk chocolate or Nutella and goes great with Daytona!

Even the door sills and transmission tunnel are leather clad, its what I'm calling extended, extended leather.

In addition, it has carbon everywhere; Interior inserts, Side blades, Engine bay, Ceramic brakes, R8 Buckets and all the toys.

Can't wait is an understatement!

Plenty planned to change over the next couple of weeks once I've collected it too. All will be revealed at the 4 rings BBQ meet at Valet Magic when it 'should' all have been done.

I do fear that women who like the chestnut are more likely to drop their teeth than their knickers.

Beautiful apart from the wheels, can't believe they put that design in a car like this. Love the interior.
previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.
Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.
Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

Now - Empty garage

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there!

This is a stunning combo, would love to see it in the daylight. I was blown away by the Porsche brown interior when I seen it in the real world.

Never been a fan of the wheels, it was a pity the only option was the V8's wheels.

Very nice Dave, thats the best colour combo I have seen in a long time.

Daytona is simply the best colour and that interior is great!

Looking good and in the best colour. I spied and A8 at the local stealers with a similar interior colour and it defiantely looks better than I expected.
