all good - hopefully being the same as the rs4 b7 unit with more space above the engine it should be relatively straightforward to supercharge (in principle!)
The extra room could allow some additional options for chargecooling or a larger more efficient supercharger unit.

The R8 engine is better than a rs4. The inlet manifold design and throttle bodies flow more than stock rs4. The carbon build up is a layer - not caked up.
There is plenty of room for 2 chargers and to make it super efficeint with lots of cooling.
