I'm not hopeful of a discount on the 911 because of demand. Porsche do not usually do much on the discount front at the best of times. The product of that is stronger residuals. Swings and roundabouts.

Stunning car.
A bit OTT for my requirements but agree an epic car.

Been offered 7% discount on a new build slot V10+ via carwow so with a squeeze perhaps 10% is hopeful but 8% may be possible.

Need to be more than that IMO even if you think it's the best thing since sliced bread.

You reckon that's possible? I thought carwow was the default for lowest prices & at best dealers can be pushed to match them? That's certainly the case for the C7 RS6 so how come the R8 would be any different?

Iff i go for the R8 i'd of course push for the maximum available as i would for any car, but if carwow are only offering at best 7% (2 dealers didn't offer any discount) where could more be available? Not seen any Audi Finance incentives on the R8 & Audi certainly didn't appear to facially support the car (openly) with the previous variant.

Yes, I do think that's indicative. Maybe haggle over the odd %. Point being that even with 10% off it's still too dear.

I don't believe there's any finance support. Yet. It'll come at some point.

Any anecdotal indication as to how well they're selling? They must be struggling, having priced it so high.

I don't think I've seen more than one, and that's down the road from me, out and about.

V10+ 65 plates with all the option packs are already being advertised on Audi Approved for less than the list price of the standard V10. This suggests there is plenty of haggle room new if you want a new V10+

I'd not looked, 50 cars available. Wow, that's a lot for something available six months.

I think there's a lot of hubris in the pricing of this model. Time will tell. Meanwhile, you can't move for previous-gen V10 Plus coupes on the audi used site....

I guess none of this bodes well for residuals on these cars. As said, no matter how good they are if they're priced into an awkward price bracket (more interesting competition) then either the list price is too high or the demand really isn't there. Still looking forward to the test drive but perhaps not going to be the car for me.

I think they're going to have to discount at some point. I wonder what Kieren at Tetbury would offer? Seems to consistently undercut the brokers.

Usual suspects will offer a discount, but they'll all be there or thereabouts. Carwow is a good indication as is broad speed.
