No doubt that ain't full volume. Your R8 will sound better, all day long and I can't wait to see/hear it. But Darth at idle is just truly offensive, you cannot hear yourself think, then every rev above idle just sounds uglier and even more chaotic. It is ridiculous and comical and I will be gobsmacked if your R8 is louder.

Anyways, this is your thread, apologies for going OT. See you Sun morning

Still a ways to go yet. I'll struggle keeping up only running 0.6bar until the gearbox is run in and I need to silence this 'zoorst, it's only a matter of time until PC plod knocks on the window to the tune of "'ello 'ello 'ello, what do we have here then?"
Everything will be finished off in the new year.

Any other plans for the R8 Dave?

what power does 0.6 bar give you ? roughly ?

Plans for the R8 are V10 tips which I have in my possession ... they should have been fit whilst the bumper was off for the zorst but the tips didnt turn up in time ! bugger

Might get the blades wrapped in 3M carbon per here

Image

Might get wheels done in titan, and maybe a V10 optics grill

but then it would just look like iR8V8's .... so might leave it chrome so its different

rears are 11J and fronts are 8J (or is that 10.5J and 8.5J ?)

so they need to be custom or OEM

found a set of "Rotor" aka RS 3 / TTRS / RS 5 wheels for sale on R8Talk, but the dude is in Canada !
