If they finish the cambelt serice tomorrow (optimistic) I might see you there-do you mind if I have a look inside your new purchase
Vindis have provided very good service over the last seven years-and if you have a problem they fix it as opposed to other local dealers-MB/BMW especially who seem to miss the point, one of the main reasons I have stayed with Audi.

I'm aiming to be there around 3-ish, but feel free to take a look if I'm not about. I'm sure lots of other people already have!!

It hasn't gone through the workshop as yet - There's some paintwork to sort, and a service to do, so no real quarantine is required as yet. And besides, it's better off in the showroom than out in the rain. I will be on them to remove it when I'm there tomorrow however.
It does have a SOLD label on it as well, so hopefully other customers will act accordingly....

If you missed it today, you'll have to wait until I take delivery..... I saw them moving it from the showroom as I drove away from dropping off the RS.

It'll probably be off site, having the paintwork done.
Just come along to Wheathampstead and check out the 5 R8s that will hopefully be there...... the food's good too!

It wasn't on the Autocar website classifieds when I just looked (it may be in the printed version of course), but I know it was in the Sunday Times. I bought it before the ads hit the presses.... plus they told me the wrong price (a grand less) and honoured it. Which was nice :D

So, I think the answer to your question is probably 'yes'........

Indeed..... I pushed them for a decent (ish) P/Ex on my RS4 as well. It still hurt handing it over though!

If you want a real laugh, I looked at a 2008, Daytona Grey/CF 'Blades, manual, with 2200Mls in Coventry. Only options were extended leather, 6 disc, Sat Nav, and full light pack... They wanted 92k for a car that would be around 85K new...and then offered me 35K for my RS4. Funny guys!!

I think my deal came out somewhat better than that....

The Black looks good, I have to admit, but Ice Silver still works well and I won't be upset driving it about at all.

No picture, and no special handover, but I will have an R8 18 months early.
I really wanted to order a new one, but any extra ££ I could've saved during the wait would've simply disappeared in depreciation on the RS4. That was the only factor in getting a used one to be honest... I did squeeze them to get a relatively sensible deal. I actually went in wanting to not buy it, if that makes sense!
