R8 slot up for grabs

Well, I've been having a good think about my potential purchase of the R8 and decided against. I have a 2K deposit with Leeds Audi, placed in Feb this year (if memory serves me).

If anyone is interested in the R8 and wishes to get an advanced slot, let me know, and I will see if Leeds will swap the order to you.

For those interested, I have been very happy running the RS4 since March, and quite frankly have grown used to the space and convenience it allows.

They should swap it for you, or you should get your deposit back as you have not spec'd the car yet.

Just to clarify, incase anyone has the wrong idea / impression.

The dealer has already said that they will refund the deposit - not a problem, and I will go down that route unless anyone shows an interest. I just thought that there maybe someone out there, having seen the press shots / launch details who will be ordering one - and would like to move nearer the top of the ladder than wait. I'm not looking for anyone to pay me directly - I can get the deposit back from Audi, and can ask Audi to replace me with any interested party - you replace my deposit with Audi directly.

Where are you on the list please? i.e. do you know if "your" car is the first/second etc?

My slot is probably available too (for nil profit obviously) - mind you from what I hear, people are dropping out at such a rate that ringing round a few dealers will probably get a result.
