Debadging the grill and side trim

I am looking at debadging the front grille and the side trim. Has anyone else done this?
I reckon the front end will be straightforward enough but the side trim more difficult.
I think I will have to replace the back trim so as not to have the recess where the RS4
logo would normally be. Will an A4 of the same year have a smooth plain back piece to its trim?

You will need none S-line trims. Try searching auto trader for and A4 SE and then give the reg to Audi and they will give you the part number.

I've only really looked at the picture in here as there's quite a lot of toys being thrown out of prams, but this thread might have some info:

Well that's a huge thread and I don't want to get too embroiled in it as there are already enough on there hehe.
I will have a play around with them and see what I come up with.

A prestigious car like an RS4, why would you want to debadge it? Plus it will look like there is something missing!

Actually I am mainly looking at debadging the side trims. I will be keeping the back although changing it to a black square and will need to have a play with the front badge to see about changing the square to black. I am looking at swapping the rear door trims with the RS4 badge to a plain trim just to smooth the lines of the car on the side more.

Sounds like a lot of work for limited (arguable) aesthetic gains. Why not just skin the red emblems on the badges front, back and sides? Easy and reversible. Then if you're not happy you can go the whole hog.

It's certainly an easy start point stu. Sounds bad but I really have a certain look in mind for the car and it's slowly coming together. The badges will be the second to last change to the exterior the final one being the brakes. Then the interior work begins.
