It is quite expensive though if you have to add this to the cost of replacing a damper or any part of the system every time .

True, but given most buyers want a car without drc due to the issues/cost and more importantly I feel the car drives better since removing it. Each to their own but few people could justify spending best part of £6k on suspension if you had to replace all dampers, hard pipes and flexi pipes.
