Had them in my C6 RS6 now for two months....very good quality...nice crisp light...and no errors at all.

I used these from Ebay and they fitted okay no problems. Think look the same make as above.

Which ones did you order from ebay voyager - the ones RS6Chris bought (which are just bulbs) or the ones Gavla bought (which are the complete unit)?

As i said above mine are spot on....in a C6 RS6.

Dont know if the B7 RS4 has something different on the electrical side of things??

Bearing in mind my rear lights are OEM LED so dont know if this would have an effect on number plate bulbs??

It seems that these led bulbs work on some and not others. Mikefish on here has the led complete unit bulbs from eBay (see "another led bulb thread") and they work fine on his with no errors.

As i understand it There's two things - 'no can bus error' relates to an ecu method of checking for blown bulbs.
The b7 rs4 just uses a basic resistance check and isn't can bus so will show an error.

The JDM powered units purchased are installed and work fine, no errors. I did need to fit a screw with a fractionally smaller head but used the opportunity to replace the original screws with some stainless steel ones. In fact the lamp units themselves are probably a slightly better quality than OEM!

if it ever stops raining i'll get out and check resistance and see if there is a huge difference.

I bought the ECS tuning ones 3 months ago... and ***error***... after a call to ECS... they said to return them... with the ones you show... they claim no errors...... the quality of the ones I bought looked good.. but fit was a BITA... as i had to enlarge the screw holes...

ECS does not seem to be very good differentiating between B& RS$ and misc A4 products... as their online catalogue lists all sorts of none RS4 parts, even though you specify t he make and model up front... i

I bought the exact ones that Gavla linked from eBay and have had no problems. I previously tried to change just the lamps and got errors.
