Brake problem?

For the past two mornings when I start car and drive off, there seems to be excessive play in the brake pedal. This only happens for the first 5-10mins. Even when i start the car 4-5 hours later it seems fine. Ive checked fluid levels, all ok, maybe a servo problem?
Any ideas?

Seems perfectly reasonable to me and my glass of wine too
Or maybe it's a loose shoelace, does the clutch feel bad too ?
job done, thread closed !
Next please

I'm sorry for being no help at all, and I hope someone that knows more than me (most people from age3 upwards) will come along soon :bigwave:

Docs say that the FSI engines have a brake booster pump to help build vacuum when required.
Wonder if this isn't working and the engine vacuum takes longer to accumulate in the brake resevoir.
IIRC this can be tested with Vag Com.
