Thinking of selling up :-(

Love my car to bits but I just don't drive it enough, think it's done 20 miles this week taking my daughter to nursery and back.

Keep thinking what I spend on it to what I get from it and am *thinking* of selling, I wouldn't let it go for nothing and have a price in mind but just wondered what people thought?

RS4 B7 saloon, 61k miles
Sprint blue
60k service with new plugs done <500 miles ago at Audi Huddersfield
MOT until August, again done at Audi with MOT warranty taken out
Brand new discs front and rear with EBC yellow stuff pads, these were put on around 2 weeks ago (still have the old ones as spares)
RNS-E 2010+ headunit, the one that takes 32GB SD HC memory cards
Milltek cat back, non-res with valves
Flat bottom steering wheel
H&R 10mm and 8mm spacers
Paint work touched up in December (front and rear bumpers sprayed, also grill, mirrors and boot lip (looks like new)
RS4 bucket seats
LED rear Dectane lights
Pirelli P Zero Rosso tyres all with 4mm+ on them
K&N air filter
Internal bulbs all changed for LED

Car has been loved for 16 months and never gone short on anything, only ever put V Power fuel in it, washed with the best Autoglym or Maguires.

Not a mark on it, absolutely perfect in terms of body work. 2 wheels have very slight scuffs on them which I would have had done early next year with new tyres at the same time.

If you wanted an RS4 this wouldn't let you down, it's been a superb car and as I said I would struggle to sell it, but working from home and just not driving it means I can't justify keeping it.

Anybody interested then PM me or mail me, dnicholl@gmail.com

I'm still not convinced that I'll sell it, if the right money came along I would, otherwise I'll just continue as I am.

Thanks

Daz

Also had the manifold off and cleaned around 4,000 miles ago, then on the dyno at 407 BHP.

Also has heated seats, Audi bluetooth and probably a lot more but I keep forgetting to list stuff!!!

Pictures attached, if I advertise properly then more would be added.

:boohoo:

nah .... keep it, unless you need the money

find things / events to drive it for .... then when your not driving it, just see it as saving the miles / fuel for those events

Judging by your tag line you're used to big league, big capacity cars. If you sell your RS4, would you not be tempted to buy another? If you did, I wonder if in six months time you might find yourself in the same situation, plus a few grand worse off for the car swap...

Daz, WTF!!!!!!! lol

I can't believe you are thinking of selling up. All your posts on here are nothing but positive.

Just my pennies worth, i never use mine a lot either cos i work away from home and have thought the same as you about selling. But the way i see it is that if i get to the day that i don't want to take the RS out for a blast, then that is the time to sell it. However if it is a money thing then that is totally understandable.

Good luck with what ever you decide mate.

Alex

F**k DazN, you are like an inspiration bro - don't sell, nobody really drives their cars - I don't! I spent almost a year away from mine when I was deployed in Afghan but I still kept it! If you need money to keep the family on the road then sell the car, absolutely, but you need a bit of 'you' in the equation buddy. If it makes you happy then keep. I'd love to say that you'll get BIG money for it (with the way you've owned it), but I think we all know that with the recent petrol 'crisis' peeps aren't in the mood for big engine saloons. Hell, I'm even thinking of buying it for the wife, I must be mad - stop me!

You do what you think is best, only you know your financial condition and the family comes first. But if you move onto a GT-R without telling us - ooooooh we'll be mad mate! If you have a figure for sale in your mind PM me, I'm serious about having two Sprint Blues in the drive and I couldn't ask for a better kept one ;)
