hi guys
apart from the obvious noise difference from the exhaust can someone explain what the sport button does pls ?
also, ive read that sometimes the valve in the exhaust can stick and stop working, is there regular maintenance of this i should be doing to avoid a problem ?
are there any does and don't ref the use of the button as i currently press it as soon as i start the car and leave it on all the time
one last thing, does the S button have an effect on MPG ?
thanks in advance
cheers

It also inflates the seat bolsters on the sports buckets if this function is turned on
It changes the throttle mapping so that a smaller depression of the the pedal causes the throttle to open further than when in non sport mode. Basically you get a touchy throttle.
As for maintenace of the valves someone mentioned chain lube but if you do a search you will find loads more info.
MPG will be affected because you will want to hear the car
I think that is about it.

I didn't think my car did the seat inflating thing until i was bored at some traffic lights one day and had a look in the dash menu. It's totally pointless imo to have the seats squeeze you a little in sports mode but for some reason i can't get enough of it!

when your thrashing the car in back road or track you would be glad they did.

+1
I rarely use the thigh squeezers (wide stance!) but the kidney ones really do keep me wedged in there whilst driving 'sportily', as Audi puts it.
