New RS4 Cab owner

Post by tranter5 » Sat Feb 25, 2012 9:39 pm

Some might know me off Pistonheads or other forums I have been on as I change cars every few months! I am Dan a student from leicestershire. I have copied my piston heads post as thats where I do most my posting. I have guested on here for a while as I bought an RS6 the other month to sell on, that went pretty sharpish bought my first RS personal car now though in the shape of a Sprint Blue RS4 Cabriolet and will be keeping it until mid summer.

Not sure if I updated my last M5 thread but I sold that a few weeks back and was going to have something sensible for a bit until I graduate from uni in a few months.... That lasted a couple of weeks until an RS4 cab came up in the exact colour spec I could possibly want! (Its a car high up on my list of WANTED cars!)

More pics will follow as I have ordered lots more detailing products to get this to my very high standards. The car is unmarked but I want to give it a full protection detail to maintain the stunning paintwork. I would say its in even better condition than my M5 but it is low mileage and has always been garaged.

The car is fully loaded with the Recaro bucket seats which is quite rare in the convertibles and it has the added benefit of still being under Full Audi warranty as the person I bought it off had bought it as an approved used car and it has never been out of warranty so is perfectly maintained. Idea is to keep it until mid summer, as most on here know I don't keep my cars long.

The V8 noise is incredible with the roof down I have timed my purchase perfect with the sunny weather

Jobs to do so far:

Full detail including wheels off.
Cleanse and condition/protect of soft top.
Leather clean and condition
replace slightly oxidised RS4 badge on steering wheel (very fussy i know)

Hopefully the picture will load my photo bucket has messed up from too many views it says :S

welcome ... this one for £20,995 on peeheads .... looks good VFM ... how much did you pay for it ?

you'll be able to shift that in the summer no problem

good buy

BUT, you NEED to find yourself a milltek non res zorst, else you are totally missing the point of the carbiolet, as they are fat heffers and wobbly ... so the non res milly with roof down is its forte
