Noob alert - heated rear windows

Post by jeremyc » Sat Feb 11, 2012 11:57 am

My B7 Avant has heater elements in the rear side windows.

Should they work with the heated rear window, or is there another way of turning them on?

Aren't they just antennas not heated side windows?

Also thought they were heaters until I had to get one replaced in my wife's A4 avant and the Autoglass guy informed me that they were antennas

Ah-ha! See, told you I was a noob. :)

That explains why they didn't clear the ice from the windows this morning.

Thanks for your help.
