Is anyone running the Dectane RA16SLRCL tail lights or equivalent in smoke on an avant?? (Not the litec ones)

The car's getting detailed atm and I left them the lights to fit and they've come back telling me it's throwing an error; specifically the indicators. Any ideas?
Cheers folks

I don't have these lights, but my guess would be the indicators are LEDs & so triggering a "bulb out" warning, if so a couple of these resistors wired into the lights should sort you out (one for each indictator).

I only get an error if I leave auto lights on, other than that they work perfectly without errors

they should be plug and plug
no errors
the only error i had on mine was with autolights, where if you turned the iginition on when it was dark, the autolights was turnon before the car had a chance to figure out the lights turned on and so threw a bulb out warning ... simply switching the lights off and on solved it.

Thanks for that. If it comes to it & I can't resolve it I might PM you for more info as I'm totally inept when it comes to that sort of thing

Mine give an error every single time I start the car with the lights switched to anything but off. If I get the error and switch off and on again the error goes.
I spoke to Dectane and they said it's because the lights are designed for LHD cars and the resistors are wired specifically for that, I considered running the wires from left to right and vice versa in the boot but didn't bother.

I run RA16LR's and as said if you have the switch to 'auto' and it is dark enough for auto lights to trigger on start up they will throw a bulb out warning, mine is for fogs. Either start the car in the dark with lights off or quick 1 second flick of switch from auto to off and back again clears it.
It also only happens if the car is sat for more then 5 hours for some reason. If less than that from the last time they were on it works fine. I gather this must be the time the resistors lose their impedence.

I get the same every so often, just swtich them on and off and no issues.
I think its worth the pain as they look cool
