Happy New Year all.

Can anyone recommend a good wheel refurbisher either West of London or mobile?

Not curbed them but they are showing their age now.

Cheers in advance.

If you have the oppurtinity to remove them from the car i would always do that as i never think the mobile refurbers do
as good a job

I've used Elite Car Care in Maidenhead (via another detailer). They did a great job but I was without the car for the 3 days that it took.

Thought about it and I won't use a mobile.

They sound good but impossible for me to get to either site and be without the car for 3 days :-(

The search continues..

Cheers Henry,
I'll give them a bell, I could live with leaving the car at Maidenhead.

I would second Lepsons - they do a great job.

Other option would be Spit and Polish in Tonbrige.

If you want a proper job done then it will take about 3 days to go through the full process.

Wouldnt touch mobile as they do a sh*t job that flakes in about 6 months

I'll vouch for lepsons as well. They did a superb job. If you can't do without a car then use Chris from exelwheels, he will provide you with a spare set of wheels whilst yours are being done and take them to Lepsons for you and pick them up. He is a really friendly guy and gives good service. If you look through the photo gallery on his web site you will be able to see the job he did on my rs2 wheels. Web site is www.exelwheels.co.uk

Shane - I've used Lepsons in Swindon (not sure if that's too far for you?), and as per PaulRS4 above they do offer a courtesy car (they charged me £40 for the courtesy car for 3-4 days whilst my car was with them).

The downside is that it's a bright red VW Fox...

I'm not being funny, but one thing i notice alot on here is 1 or 2 people recommend a place and everyone jumps onboard.

I'm sure Lepsons do a very good job or you all wouldnt all be recommending them, but there are loads of good refurbers
around the country,

I have used a few myself but tbh the b7 RS4 wheel is not exactly a hard wheel to do,they are a 1 piece painted wheel, its not as if there
some 3 piece split rims with chunks out of the outer rim.

I think the most you should be paying is £60 a corner

If you're ever in Cornwall I can recommend the Polished Wheel Company in Wadebridge. They completely refurbed all four on my ST220 in less than 48 hrs and turned around a significant refurb on one of my RS4 wheels overnight for £60. Plus they do all the work for the local stealer so they're used to working on Audis.

Thanks guys,
Appreciate your feedback. I may leave it until spring and have the car detailed at the same time which makes sense as I'm always short of time.

Elite are pretty close so I will give them a try on this occasion.

Thanks again.

Cheers Dave,
Must be my charm coming over. They quoted me £75.00 per corner for a factory finish. Car will be on axle stands for 3 days which isn't so bad as they can come and get them from my work.
