Bramley have a long history of asking stupid prices, and that's a stupid price.

Doesn't make the price anything other than stupid though - just like any mug who pays it.

I know Bramley very well. They have a good heritage and loyal customers, especially for classics. They have another venue, full of very sexy autos!

But yes, they are overpriced. They had an RS4 cab for sale when I was looking and it was 100% the spec I wanted. Black, buckets, carbon, FBW etc. Went to drive it and reserve it. He wanted £2000 deposit which I said I wouldn't do (just in case) but would be back next week to buy it for cash. Phoned them twice that week to make sure he took me seriously and he said he would actively not try and sell it but wouldn't reserve is as I wouldn't pay the deposit.

The money came through for me and I phoned to say I had the cash and would be down in a couple of days, phoned on the day and he had sold it the day before!!! GRRRRRRRR!!!!!

Anyway, 1 day later, Audi Salisbury had the same spec car, 1000 more miles so 12k rather than 11k and that was it, same car exactly! Bought that one from the dealer for....wait for it.....£10,000 less than Bramley were selling theirs for....!!

Thank god he sold it!!!

Still, their web site is well worth a perv from time to time!!

It was, had about only 6k IIRC. Noticed there's a Daytona Grey with about 6kmiles for near on £40 large.
