After only a day I cant really compare it much to the RS4 B7 I had before, but I LOVE the DCT gearbox and the way it blips the throttle on the downshifts.
Bit like a computer game really in that respect!

I don't suppose many people on this forum have driven vehicles that have non synchro boxes where you have to blip the throttle on down shifts a dying art.

Does a late 1960's Land Rover 90 count? The one we had at the first place I worked only had synchro on 2nd, 3rd and 4th - so you had to blip the throttle on downshifts into 1st.

Do you know what.....I think it is the wrong colour!
I ordered Alpine white and mine is like a metallic / pearly white!!
What a crease up.....I'll have to check the paint code!

Double de-clutch ?
you must be older than dirt

double DE-clutch...that is the proper term, but no one calls it that :D
you 'clutch' once, de-clutch twice

de-clutch (1)
pause in neutral
release clutch (it does not clutch, no power, you're in neutral, doesn't count as a clutch)
de-clutch (2)
pop in gear
release clutch (the only clutch/power transfer)
:jump:
