Another RS4 stolen

Post by Danbo » Mon Sep 26, 2011 4:16 pm

My RS4 was stolen this morning from the Leatherhead area. I am feeling sick. Me and the wife went out at about 9am, then when she returned at 1230 found we had been burgled.

House was broken into (smashed through the rear patio door) and the keys were stolen, car taken off the drive (seen by a neighbour at 1030 leaving) nothing else taken thankfully. Police say that two other Audis have been taken from the Surrey area in the last couple of weeks. Please be careful.

In case it is still on its plates its RS04 HUT if you see it about please call the Police. It was ANPR'd at J14 of the M25 going clockwise at about 1240.

The worst thing is that now the wife will never be happy if there is a desirable car on the drive (two young kids) so it has ruined the chances of having nice cars for me. Just not worth the risks.

Very sad.

really sorry to hear this fella

saloon or avant ?

this is why my insurance is ridiculous for the RS 4, and why insurance on the drive is more than the street

Cheers people.

Next car will definitely have to be stealthy! No option. The wife would be too scared to have anything other!

It was an Avant. And just before I move to another house where it would have been more secure behind a large gate!. Although I guess they would still have taken it if they wanted it.

Trackers (and their ilk) don't deter the professionals, not even one little bit, complete waste of time and money on cars like the RS4 that are stolen to order by professionals.
