Been scouring for new rubber, had a deal there but collapsed as guy is selling rims and tyres............. really don't want to blow best part of a grand to run over broken bottles, craters and dog <beep>.. but I,m conscious of fitting substandard stuff

Anyone got any advice on Avons, Vredesteins etc.. quite happy to pay up to around £650.. been thinking that Avons and the like can't really be bad tyres compared to top drawer stuff like Mich's and Pirelli's etc.


Opinions welcome.

cheers aka... agreed reviews are all over the Shop.... camskill dont have any vreds, but they have avons... any opinion on these

I rate the sessantas too.

I'm on my second set of Sessanta's, no complaints.

looks like they perform as good as they look by the sound of it.. found sessantas on an alternative site at same price and they have in stock.. Ill buy if no one replies to my wanted ad in the classifieds.

Bought a set of 8 mill Contis off andi on classifieds... thanks for the comments, the Vreds will be next on list
