v8 wing badges or not?

Post by DazN » Mon Jun 13, 2011 3:07 pm

So, I've seen a few new S4's with 'V6T' on the wings, also the RS6 with v10 on the side and I wondered what the general consensus is about putting v8 badges on the wings of the B7 RS4?

Bit like playing top trumps when you drive past anything less :-)

;)

Not a fan of them, I actually prefer the less badges on mine. Thinking about taking the RS4 front and rear off mine.

It all looks too much like door numbering IMO. Full debadge FTW.

A bit more expensive granted but invest in a non-res exhaust and you won't need badges.... :bigblink:

Less badges the better. Have thought about taking off the RS4 badges also but they're not too in ya face so will be leaving them on.

Another vote for not running with the badge.

I have seriously considered going badgeless apart from a 1.8TDi stuck to the back or possibly a 'hybrid' badge just to annoy certain sectors of society.

Unfortunately the Milltek would probably give the game away... :kissmyrings:

+1 to the above.
No need for a V8 badge.
If you have the RS4 then those who'll care will already know. Those who dont care will still hear the noise so no need.

I'm going to be one of the (very?) few who say they like the V8 wing badges.

Have you considered which door knocker you'd like to compliment your new door numbers?

Might I suggest this one...

One prepared earlier...

That said, I do really like this font, sans the door knocking balls of course...
