Mmmm am i being a bit thick here? my bonnet and front wings are attracted by a magnet! so if they are supposed to be aluminium surley they shoudnt?? the windscreen surround sure aint mmmmmmm! (opening himself up for complete ridicule)

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but someone must have swapped their steel for your ali wings & bonnet

Only the RS4 has Aluminium panels the S4 does not.

Right i was thick now im worried as my bonnet and wings are attracted by a magnet and strong aswell and it is a RS4 with the mahooosive bulging front arches who can explain this???? come on grab your magnets and go check otherwise my Audi dealer will be opening his dealership with an RS4 firmly planted through his window

Only thing I can think of is, the Cab did not have Ali parts?

I would hate to think they used norm A4 parts as they are different size, and wont fit flush to the front bumper.

Nope i have the extended front wings and the Rs4 front bumper but i have just been to the garage again and tried the magnet and it strongly attracts to the wings and bonnet inc inner wings, have phoned a mate who has a Subaru type RA and has aluminium wings and bonnet and his does not attract a magnet, i need someone on here to go check

i had an A2 and tried to put L plates on for my sis and they wouldnt stick

i think its another thumbs down for the cab

FOOK me im so glad sorry DK but i thought i was goin fookin mad for a mo, i dont think they would alu and metal wings in the same style unless they did it for the Cab's stregnth?

If it is true that the Cab does not have Alu body parts then that's wrong advertisement surly, thats crazy.

wings and hood should be 100% alu on the 'loons/vants

Just checked on my saloon and magnet definitely NOT attracted to either bonnet or wings. It does stick to the other body parts. Wonder if the cab has steel? That'd be strange!
