What a mad few days!!

Post by wrekka » Wed May 11, 2011 8:10 pm

My wife's water's broke on Saturday (just as the Man with the Golden Gun was about to start!)

Phoned hospital for advice and tols us to go in.

Three days later and a forced induction I now have a baby daughter!! All is well, just been a very traumatic experience for the Mrs (and me!)

Didn't take the RS4 to the hospital as the parking there is awful (as in very tight spaces and careless parking from other people!)

Home now, but a shout out for my wife and all women as child birth is ridiculously tough!!

Oh and I decided to stay at the top end and be a supportive husband, had a slight glance and not for me (although the midwife wanted me to look more closely!)

Congrats, but there nothing like getting to the business end and cutting the chord as part of the experience. Lady P_G had a right potty mouth on her on the gas & air so I was glad to get doen the business end for the birth!

Have you got a saloon or an Avant as if the former this is an ideal opportunity to trade up for the latter for more usable space! :bigblink:

Congratulations fella. Our first one was born 48 hrs after the waters broke - at least you get advance warning of when its going to happen that way!

Aye, wait until you try and get the buggy in the boot in a hurry on a cold rainy day without scratching the bumper, boot lid or buggy!
