Loose trim

Post by ClioDriver » Wed May 04, 2011 11:24 am

Hi all

The trim surrounding the driver's seat belt pulley on my RS4 (B7) has come loose on the lower left clip, i.e. closest to the door. In fact, there's always been a creak coming from that area and now I know why. It seems that there is some sort of bolt which has come loose and it's missing altogether - no sign of it anywhere in the car. Any ideas how to fix it? Can it be done by a non-expert?

Many thanks,
Mark

Should clip back in with a sharp push - you may need to align the plastic "toungue" so it can engage in the clip or possibly the clip has fallen off - I think they are metal & slide into a pressed steel V - but shouldn't need a screw etc. AFAIK

Thanks.

I think the clip must have fallen off and got lost somewhere. Anyone know if these clips are readily available?
