Optics - spraying or wrapping?

Sonny advised me that fitting new optics could cost up to £1500 all in for parts and fitting... how on earth they justify half of this on a few hours work is beyond me.
Anyway, had a thought...
Has anyone sprayed or wrapped (don't know what the latter is, but Sonny mentioned it) their optics..? I figured as doing the wheels and wing mirrors is possible, then why not the optics in the same colour?
If going for the titanium look on the Daytona Grey, does anyone know the colour codes for wheels, mirrors and optics?
Also, can anyone recommend a company north of the border who'd do a good job at any of the above?

A couple of people on here have had the grill surround wrapped I think (not sure about the rest of the optics). Wrapping would be alot cheaper than £1500.

The parts for the saloon window surround is about £800 ish, if you can fit it your self then great or get some one to do, even better, but it is along job 4-6 hours.
Paint code is 8AU, also known as L8AU (Titanium with Matt finish).

I would say wrapping is definately the way forward in terms of cost...I had the intention of wrapping everything to give my car the black optics look but went for just the grill in the end and am happy with the results as they stand...here is a link to some pics...I honestly cant remember if it was £80 or £180 that I paid..

I was quoted £180.00 for the optic wrap but that didn't include the boot stripp and obviously not the exhaust tips.
Totally Dynamic I think - they are country wide.

I had grille surround window surround and rear bumper strip wrapped for 150 and is a huge improvement, plus all work is guaranteed.

I got a quote of about £150 + VAT from Totally Dynamic... They said they don't guarantee non-paint surfaces...
