Well I thought the RS4 was rapid......... Until I met an RS6

Post by aled_31 » Thu Apr 14, 2011 8:19 pm

Quick blast after work, in the car with the misses and nipper, spotted a C5 RS6 fast aproaching in the rear view mirror, gave it the beans in 4th but he flew past me. The misses found it highly amusing, I just put it down to being in the wrong gear. He slowed so we entered the next roundabout nose to nose so I went for it, flat out in 2nd then 3rd.

To my surprise, he whooped me for a second time!! I thought the C5 was only packing 450BHP, and given it's weight disadvantage always reckoned there shouldn't be much in it between a B7 and C5.

So that was the reason they used one in "Layer Cake". Big respect!!

straight line barges

fantastic cars, built for the Autobahn ... remap to 500ps and enough torque to turn the moon

RS 4 is a different car

I dont try to drag race many cars in a B7, it will lose too many times

Reminds me of the blat we had from the beaconsfield meet a couple of months ago, I was pushing the b7's along at points. Now that was fun!

DK, you'll remember that one! :bigwave:
