Piano black bucket seat backs - possible

Hi all,
Been reading the forums for a while now as I'm in the market for an avant, thought now would be the time to start contributing. I've noticed a few people have been discussing different seat backs for the buckets. I'm going to look at a car these people have and noticed that their left hooker has piano black seat backs so maybe other styles are available direct from Audi?

There was indeed a black edition and a white edition and both came with optics, body coloured seat backs and dash inserts and suede steering wheel, gear knob and hand brake (I think). They only came in .... you guessed it balck and white so I would indeed imagine that there is a part number for the body coloured seat backs.
If I recall the only one seen in this country was a white one so they are very rare but in all honesty its only minor cosmetic items so I personally would not pay a premium on one. I am sure you could get a body shop to paint or better still may be wrap the seat backs for a lot less than the cost of an OEM part.

Oh I see, I did notice that it mentions Audi exclusive black package so guessed it may have been an option on the continent? Anyone have pics of the 'white edition'? I've found this at Shaks' but for ~50k I agree its not worth the premium

The side cheeks are easy to remove and wrap but I think the whole back is a seat dismantle job.

Crikey, that seems like far too much work! Like what you've done on yours Caldy, do the backs of the seats get scuffed by kiddies feet as I understand the rear legroom is compromised by the buckets?

That looks very expensive unless I could keep it of French plates then might be a lot more interesting ?

Seriously considering any colour option now and have it wrapped in white

WOW, that is amazing, I've seen the white seat inserts on a 4 with Audi exclusive options never the 'darth vadar' look.
