Retrofitting ICE

Post by drbru » Sat Oct 30, 2010 8:47 pm

I currently have dvd based sat nav with the 2 sd cards (I believe RNS-E)

Im looking to install DVD functionality which can be controlled through the main unit...Also interested in TV tuner

Not sure how much this would cost but if expensive Ill just go with the DVD option for now..

Any ideas on cost and what I would need?

Cheers

Anyone that installs the Kufatec IMA plus with a compatible TV tuner & DVD player...

had a look at the Kufatec website and looks like this is what is needed

http://www.kufatec.de/shop/product_info ... ntrol.html

Far cheaper than whats priced up on the first link as well!

I used VWCRUISE for my retrofitted options - not the cheapest but my thinking was that the best qualified folks to pull around RS4 systems probably won't be the cheapest  Really professional service.
