KDS / Lepsons

Post by Flumper » Fri Oct 22, 2010 11:08 am

Anyone used these guys?

I am thinking of a bodyword detailing package and the alloys being refurbed.

Any experience?

I've not used either, but Lepsons and Pristine get the vast majority of recommendations for wheel refurbs

I have seen the work done by KDS and the Lepsons wheel refurb company next door to KDS

You will not be disappointed i assure you.

Pay them a visit they have so much work you will need to book it in but you will see the work they are currently doing

I used Lepsons & was very pleased with the quality of the wheels & the speed of turnaround all 4 wheels delivered to them on Tuesday & back on Friday. My only concern is because the paint seems to be thickly applied I think a minor kerbing could look worse than "blown over" wheels fortunately I have so far managed to avoid kerbs so can't say for sure ! However the previous refurb was flaking after only a few months & quite unsighltly although did seem to hide my (very) minor kerbing incidents...

The finish I chose was "hyper silver" which looks just like OEM & also has the advantage if needed they can match a single wheel. I had them done at the end of June & they look a lot better now than when I picked the car up from the dealer with freshly re-finished wheels on it.

just had a buthers at the alloys in my garage under flourecent light and the finish on them is superb. for the money it cost me to get them done properly i cant see the sense in spending 50 odd quid to a mobile repair...lepsons imo from start to finish have acted as a first class outfit. in not only the quality of the finish but also the communication of the staff...

Picked up my car today from KDS after a detailing package and a rim refurb from Lepsons.

Superb. The rims are fantastic after a advice from Kelly at KDS on the various options available on the paint finish.

The body work is immaculate - Kelly and the guys did a fantastic job and even Mrs Flumper was impressed with the results.

Good service, quality work and great results.

Happily recommend them to anyone.

I've just posted in another thread that when I finally get the car I'll probably get it professionally corrected. It is KDS/Lepsons I had in mind. There work is first class.

I am potentially interested in using Lepsons and saw they had a branch in Swindon as that is more local to me; has anybody used these guys as opposed to Kent Base. Cheers
