RS4 sedan roof rack

hey all. first off....i have been searching around before posting this and havent found what im looking for....so sorry if this is an old topic

i recently purchased a 2007 RS4 and would like to add a snowboard/bike rack to the roof. i havent seen any pictures of this and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. are the s4 racks compatible with the rs4? yakima and thule showed no available components for this car.

any info is greatly appreciated.

I have lockable Thule roof bars for my 57, B7 RS Saloon/Sedan (same as S4 iirc)

take a look on ebay, I will try and dig the part number out for you if you like to help you on your search.

I am assuming that you are looking for roof bars for a saloon rather than an Avant. The kit will be the same as Thule list for an A4. I checked back on my old order and it was

- Foot Pack 750
- Thule Aero Bar 861
- Fitting Kit 1212

However on checking the Thule website http://www.thule.com/en-GB/GB/FitGuide.aspx#startApp it looks there is another option available but I can't see any significant improvement or advantage.

thanks a lot for the quick responses. have you noticed anything negative from adding the rack? like any damage where the mount attaches to the car?

by any chance do either of you have any pics to show me how it looks? i couldn't believe how hard it has been to find a pic of an 07 rs4 sedan with a roof rack.
