Just got back from my first proper drive since picking my car up from MRC - all I can say is WOW - what an amazing difference!!! Doug and the guys really do work their magic on the car. 371 ps pre port, decoke and map - 431ps post with so much more torque across the whole rev range. A fantastic car has just become a truly amazing car!! Final piece of work being done on Wed - KW v3 being fitted ready for a blast to Southern Germany - cant wait!

Have you ot a split of the power gains pertaining to decoke, porting and remap?

Sounds like a trip worth doing for you.

Excellent news, I was surprised how well my car drove after having the same mods, My Audi tech took it for a test drive (pre track inspection) and he was gobsmacked, said it was the fastest one he had drove.

Hi Sonny

Yes I had the black optic pack fitted - hell of a job but car looks great. Not sure it was worth the money it cost though. If you do it you have to rreplace the rear quarter glass which bumps the price up.

Did you have a service while you were at it?

Didnt have a service - that was already carried out by Camberley Audi before they fitted the optic pack. With hindsight I probably wouldnt do it again as it was stupidly expensive - car looks great but Im not sure it was really worth the cost.

I have the graphs from my car and the decoke plot, made very little difference at all on my car,its not something i will be looking at having done again in the future,Doug commented mine wasnt too bad and i had a new inlet manifold fitted allready under warranty and it looked to already have an improved internal finish which may have contributed to a fairly healthy starting point powerwise.

Ok yes Im aware of the rear window quarters needing replacing, did you go as far as having the rear boot strip CC and the exhaust tips in Satin black?

I am still going ahead with the black optics..what colour is your car?
