Mentining the FBSW - any easy and cheap way to replace one of the buttons? One of mine is a little worn.

I have seen a worn out Sport button on a car (you know who you are

)
According to ETKA you have to buy the cover cap which is the bit with the buttons in it

Got a multi function flat bottomed steering wheel in mine, think its same as the ttrs. Very happy with it - got the looks of the standard flat wheel whilst retaining the function of the MFSW. dont know how much these are, but maybe worth considering?

As neckarsulm has said you have to buy all 4 buttons and the silver surround for them at a cost of approx £160.

Got some prices these are the RRPs from Audi
548.12 s/wheel
528.38 airbag
142.39 button assembly
1218.89 ex VAT
1432.20 inc VAT
Can get for £1300 inc VAT + shipping + fitting (which I can't do) but if a trader on here can do better or match then I'd use them.
You'll need to use VAG COM to configure it in which isn't hard.
Don't forget your original wheels and airbags will be worth something if you sell them on.

I,d replace it with a TT FBW etc etc.....keep the sport button on the dash and still have the multi function option of the original wheel on the TT or similar wheel.
The buttons to operate the computer are nothing flash anyway....i,d rather have volume control etc if i had the choice.
Best of both worlds FBW and multi function controls.

I could do with a new sport and set button cap as they are starting to wear, do these have to be bought as the kit?
