Dealerships to have your RS4 Serviced At

Post by P_G » Thu Aug 05, 2010 11:25 am

One for our UK contingent (no offence to those elsewhere).

We have all heard some horror stories regarding dealerships and the service they provide when servicing RS4's and often, the ones that do a good job don't (apart from Camberley) get the credit they deserve.

So I'll start by saying as much as they used to be poor, Tyneside Audi have really stepped up to the mark in terms of servicing and work on my car. Same can't be said for Newcastle Audi, same franchise, worlds apart in terms of service.

So where do you have your car serviced and do you rate them / would you go elsewhere? Please for clarity only refer to the dealership you have your car serviced at rather than where you have heard is good service so we can get accurate numbers on actual positive experiences per dealership.

A thread a started a while back, good source however it is for all models. http://www.rs246.com/index.php?name=PNp ... ic&t=82199

I get mine serviced at Amersham Audi, but have used Bromley, I have had warranty work carried out at Bromley and Bexley, Bexley being the better of the two.

I prefer to use Amersham Audi as I have total confidence in the head tech there.

I remembered that thread; that said I ahve seen it said but had it first hadn that some dealership are good for servicng and work on mainstream models but not RS ones; maybe because RS owners are more particular?

Hence this thread specifically for RS4s so that it can be shown that certain dealerships work on a number of RS4s so it would be a good idea to go there is you want soeone who knows about working on our cars.

Apart from CAmberlet Audi (where I bought my RS4 and all my previous Audis) I've been happy with Portsmouth Audi.

Mine goes to York, and strange as it might seem, since JCT600 took over, there was/has been a notable improvement in Customer Service - not that it was bad in the first place.

Have been pleased with Poole Audi for both service & parts but didn't like the for sales (which makes taking the car there for service & parts that bit more enjoyable...)

Initially my car was in and out of Milton Keynes Audi like a yo-yo with fiddly/annoying stuff that the previous owner either didn't notice or didn't care wasn't right.
Despite horror stories I've been very pleased with Milton Keynes Audi, Service reception is excellent and when there have been issues with getting something right first time the Service Manager has intervened and resolved to get the car 'as it should be' - impressed. DRC and seat bolsters sorted.

Tonbridge Audi have been very helpful with a recurring EPC light problem/lack of kick at 5500rpm. Just got her back yesterday after hopefully the final fix. They were keen to get the problem fixed under the extended Audi warranty which finishes tomorrow!!!! Excellent communication/service and were happy to look at the various suggestions from the forum and you guys.

You guys are kindof lucky in that you have a choice; I have none, only one dealer in N Ireland :(

There's many active members in this Forum who haven't yet posted recommending a dealer - or even an indi if that's where you go now our cars are starting to go out of manufacturers warranty.

Come on guys don't be shy - it's to help your fellow RS4 owners, we've still got new members joining as they buy a "new to them" RS4.

As far as I can say, I can’t fault Kim Collins at QST. I gave him a very sick S4 (b5) and still love what I got back 3 or 4 years later. As a matter of fact it is faster than my RS4 (b7) everywhere (in a straight line, b7 kills it in the corners)

RS4(b7)Avant ,ss+, standard "for now" ,
