Pics of refurbed wheels by Pristine....

Hi,
Just received my car back from the menders. Had some bodywork repaired (very light but other persons fault) and had the wheels refurbed at the same time.
The wheels were sent off in a sorry state as each one had been kerbed at least twice and returned totally the opposite.
I have to say the finish at distance is outstanding but as I looked closer there were a few minor(and I mean minor) blemishes in the paintwork of the wheels.
Overall I am very happy, the colour and lacquered finish is top notch - especially as I didn't pay. Here are the pics:

Looks good to me!
Funnily enough i got mine back today from getting powder-coated and they also have some minor blemishes in the finish, but overall i'm pleased, plus it only cost £180.

I think there is only one location, Woburn Sands just outside Milton Keynes, I know they run a wheel exchange programme for VAG so if they are in stock and you want them standard colour they can turn them round straight away, mine need doing again and I'm hoping pristine can do them next week

Where is 'up here'? Scrap that , I see you are around Fife area. There may be a franchise of the 'Wheel Specialist' near you. Otherwise ask Jim at Star Performance in Kirkaldy and he may poiint you in the right direction.

I had them done by Shadow Tyres in Reading.
I was having other work done on the car so I had a loan car for a week and half which obviously helped.
Realised later on Friday they'd forgot to my TPMS valves back on so it's got to go back.
The colour was "matched" to the original colour....I think they did mention "shiny" silver.

Possibly a stupid question but do the wheels need to be properly cleaned before they go in? Mine are due in (courtesy of wheel insurance I took from Audi) and they've got stubborn dirt in the spokes.
