Bye Bye RS4 - Hello GTR :-)

Post by rs4v8 » Fri Jul 09, 2010 12:54 pm

Pin pulled folks. Off to the other member of the Axis. Deposit paid.

Black edition 2010 plate GTR (in Kuro black) will be sitting in place outside Casa del RS4V8 in place of the trusty RS4 at the start of next month.

Will be pretty sorry to see it go, but pretty excited all the same :-)

Its a good indication of how good a car the Audi is that I've kept it so long.

Nothing's tickling my fancy in the Audi range as much as the GTR and I'm not convinced enough by what I have seen so far about the RS5 to wait for it.

Off for a brew to calm the nerves!! :drink:

Enjoy the GTR fella, Iv only ever seen them on the track. spoke to a few owners at Silverstone in May who was praising the car. I must say I was surprised how big the GTR is. One owner was commenting that these cars are underpowered on paper, now that's a first lol

GT-R put a very big smile on my face, but just as big a smile going home in my RS4. But I wonder, looking at rs4v8's history, whether he'll miss the driver involvement?

Fixed by new software for the '10 model which actually makes the car quicker off the line by all accounts - go figure :D
