Warranty on bodywork?

It looks as if my rear bumper is slightly pround in the centre where it meets the bootlid edge and they have been rubbing each other slightly. My concern is that it will eventually rub the paint off the edge of the bootlid and then start to corrode. Is the dealer going to try the ususal wriggle out attempt by saying something must have touched the bumper to cause it to move? We are only talking about the 3 or 4 mm gap at the end of the day. Is there any warranty for this kind of thing? I suspect that the skin of the bumper is glued to a rigid shape under neath and the glue has failed allowing the bumper skin to flex - any ideas?

Not owned from new, nut there are no signs of respray anywhere. Warranty expires on tuesday, so I'll just send it in - see what happens.

Sounds like it's been nudged and knocked out of alignment and thus warranty claim IMHO will be unlikely
