Was there an option for tinted windows on a 2006 saloon in the UK.

I have seen one i like but want to know if they are aftermarket, as i would want them removed if possible.

They are a dark tint, from the B pillar back.

Tinted windows were certainly an option when I specced my car. For legal reasons in the UK they can only be from the "B" pillar backwards.

you can check if they were an option by looking at the option codes on the inside front page of the service book and sticking the codes through a translator, jus google to find one.

I would stab a guess that if someone was going to do that aftermarket, they would have had the fronts done to some degree....

I thought privacy glass was only an option on the Avant?

That was what i had read in some literature too.

Avant only to the best of my knowledge

Looks pants on a saloon, IMO.

Good for the kids in the back though!
No kids then no need for the Tints.

Got OEM blinds instead for my kids; just wish the Avant had an electric rear blind like the saloon. It's a toy but boy is it a good one!

Thanks for that, I only looked at the Avant, so could only comment on my experience. Learn something new everyday
