Hi all,
Do the B7 RS4's fall into the higher car tax bracket?

Just getting all my sums right before I take the plunge.

06 cars or less cost £200 odd

56 or more cost £400 odd

anyone know if the govnt has any plans to change this split retrospectively in the future ?

Nearly right, pre April '06 cars are £200, mine is July '06 '06' plate and £430. :cry:

Only 06 cars before April 2006 are the lower bracket.

I think it is March 23rd 2006 or before for the cheaper road tax.

before buying, go here and enter reg number, will tell you what tax there is to pay on a vehicle.
