Funny noise on full lock

I've recently noticed that when I am reversing slowly with the wheels on full lock that there is a strange metallic squealing noise coming from the front end.

I have little knowledge of suspension systems etc but has anyone else had this problem or is this normal? Perhaps something drying out?

Thanks
Chris

Power steering pump working normally when at full stroke although this should be audible when moving forwards slowly as well?

i have this also, happens when the car is warm, its quite a loud metallic sound, on full lock forwards or reverse.

you'd think that the power steering was low on fluid but check a few times and is not.

not had it long, maybe some long term owners can shed some light?

Hi
I have very similiar noise but
not that bad. Moving away from sc to gy f1 tyres seems to have reduced it.

Also get the dealers to tighten the steering rack
on
next service as mine had become slighty lose. Common apprenlty, this seems to reduce it further.

The nose seems a tyre thread type right?

This is not a a fault.
